HKS Hi Power Exhaust System

Inspired by GT racing developed its cat-back exhaust system with features that you will find on most of the top racing exhaust systems. This series of cat-back exhaust systems incorporate features inspired with racing in mind with an offset muffler and piping design, always striving to eliminate any unnecessary bends for the least restrictive exhaust path. This less restrictive design allows the HKS cat-back exhaust system to have a greater exhaust flow and less back-flow pressure, enhancing your PRM power gains.

The HKS cat-back exhaust system can be used for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated car applications. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain HKS Hi-Power applications are available in a Silent version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler.

Like the HKS Drager catback exhaust systems, the HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust systems are made from high-quality SUS304 stainless steel. Each HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust system features high-quality mandrel bent piping and application specific muffler assemblies.

Most HKS exhaust systems are complete cat-back units, which do not effect emission related hardware. Each HKS cat-back exhaust system is designed for a specific car application and can be bolted on out of the box, using factory mounting hangers.

Muffler tip sizes can vary depending on the car application, having muffler tip sizes of 96mm, 115mm or 120mm in diameter and piping diameter size of 55mm to 95mm.

HKS also developed exclusive Special Edition HKS Carbon Titanium Hi-Power catback exhaust systems for certain popular car applications. Often times referred to as the HKS Carbon-Ti catback exhaust series, these exclusive versions of the HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust consist of a carbon-fiber wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.
